Scenic Arkansas Highways
Thousands of automobile and motorcycle enthusiasts travel to the Ozarks each year to tour the incredible scenic highways. Mulberry Mountain is located along Hwy 23, better known as the Pig Trail National Scenic Byway. It is perhaps the most beautiful drive in the Ozarks. The twisting curves over the mountains guide you through a canopy of trees leading down to the Mulberry River Valley. Travel scenic Hwy 215 at Cass you will encounter some of the most amazing views of the Arkansas Ozark Mountains and Mulberry River.
Arkansas Wine Country
Franklin County is known across the state as the wine capital of Arkansas and boasts some of the finest wineries to be found. In the small town of Altus located about 25 miles from Mulberry Mountain you will find a number of delightful and unique wineries including Post Familie Winery, Wiederkehr Village Winery, Mount Bethel Winery, Chateau Aux Arc, and others. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon of sampling and touring the beautiful vineyards that flow along the Arkansas River Valley.
Abundant Wildlife
Located within the White Rock Wildlife Management Area and surrounded by the Ozark National Forest, Mulberry Mountain provides the perfect setting in which to spot an abundance of wildlife including whitetail deer, turkey, black bear, bald eagles, raccoons, squirrels, and much more. Whether it’s relaxing outside your cabin or exploring the nearby trails, you are sure to witness a few of these magnificent creatures. Don’t forget the camera.
